Open Service Mesh (OSM) is a lightweight, extensible, cloud native service mesh built on Envoy and the Service Mesh Interface (SMI) specification. OSM provides traffic shifting, mutual TLS, access control, observability, and automatic sidecar injection for Kubernetes-based microservices.
